1956 Began painting from the age of 7
1960 Entered the Hanoi Fine Art College
1966 Served in the army as a bomb engineer
1974 Worked as painter, illustrator for Thong Nhat Journal
1975up to now, works as main painter for Van Nghe
weekly, the only weekly Journal of Art & Literature of Vietnam.

• 1956 The first work Alluber Cock–gold prize in painting Competition of International Children, England.
• 1973 The third prize of Hanoi painting Exhibition
